Rev. Dennis Coy serves as senior pastor of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Canton, Ohio – and has served this congregation since early 2014. Rev. Coy also serves as a member of the United Church of Christ Board of Directors (UCCB), and on its special development committee (vice-chair). Coy also serves the denomination by serving on the Board of Directors for Common Global Ministries, the ecumenical partnership between the UCC and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for its global ministry work. Dennis is a former police officer and drug-enforcement agent. He is an experienced investigator and investigations manager in the public and private sectors with over 18 years of experience as a specialist in White Collar Crimes and financial crimes. Dennis oversees risk, compliance, and investigations for Consumers National Bank as its Chief Risk & Compliance Officer. He has also previously worked at PNC in anti-money laundering roles. Dennis is also active in his community and has served in various roles with regional and state-wide chapters of the Jaycees.
