An investment that does good — and does well!

Whether you're looking for an investment for personal or organizational funds - or helping your church develop its improvement plans - consider the Cornerstone Fund. You'll earn a competitive rate of interest, while supporting the ministry of UCC churches across the country.

Partners in Ministry

Without investors, the Cornerstone Fund couldn't exist. When an Investor chooses to place their savings in a Cornerstone Fund Demand or Term Note, they help ensure funds are always available to churches seeking to make improvements to their building or grounds.  The Cornerstone Fund functions much like a bank - but one focused exclusively on supporting the churches and organizations of the United Church of Christ. Investments pay competitive rates of return, and in turn, the collected funds are used to provide real estate-secured loans to local churches for capital improvements and expansion.

Available to individuals, churches or organizations affiliated with the United Church of Christ, Cornerstone Fund investments may be purchased in six term offerings —

Fleixble Demand Note
Minimum investment: $100
Paying a rate of interest roughly comparable to a money market rate, a Demand Note may be redeemed at any time.

Term Notes
Minimum investment: $1,000
Similar to an investment in a certificate of deposit, a Cornerstone Fund Term Note earns interest at a competitive rate, and may be redeemed at no cost upon maturity. Maturities are available at six months, one year, 1½ -year, 2½-year, and 5-year. Early withdrawals may be subject to modest interest penalties.

Visit our Rates page for the current interest rate being paid on your investment of choice.

Cornerstone Fund loan approval guidelines are carefully considered to ensure the safety of investments and the security of the loan portfolio; but because Cornerstone Fund investments are unsecured and are considered securities, they can be offered only through a prospectus.
